Front Page

This site is currently under construction, but will hopefully be regularly updated starting in Winter, 2007. The goal is to create a useful online repository of information about life in the City of Arcata, California. This site is made possible by the wonderful folks at WikiSpot.org. For an excellent example of a city wiki please see the DavisWiki (also created by the founders of WikiSpot).

Many of the page templates used on this site are from DavisWiki. These templates will hopefully be significantly modified/re-made in the future. However, in the mean time, DavisWiki should get all the credit.

Want to help make the Arcata Wiki? Consider making a page (see below), uploading a picture or adding some details about pages that already have been made. Check on Wanted Pages for an idea of where to start.

Feel free to create a page while you're here. To create a new page, simply search for the name of the page you wish to create and then click the "Create a new page with this title" link. Another way to create a new page is by making a link to the page you wish to create from a page that already exists, following the link, and clicking "Create this page."
